A Learning management is a process of interaction between the student, teacher, and learning source inside a learning atmosphere. Furthermore, the mathematics learning management is a way to manage the mathematics learning in achieving the proposed goal. The mathematics learning management includes some steps. They are planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating.

This research aims at knowing: (1) The mathematics learning planning in SMP Negeri 2 Batangan Pati, (2) The mathematics learning organization in SMP Negeri 2 Batangan Pati, (3) The mathematics learning implementation in SMP Negeri 2 Batangan Pati, (4) The Mathematics Learning Evaluation in SMP Negeri 2 Batangan Pati.

The methods of collecting the data are observation, documentation, and interview. The method of analyzing the data is the qualitative method with an ethnography approach. The writer uses the ethnography approach for knowing and understanding the original and natural aspects of the informants view in every aspect of life. The writer does this research in SMP Negeri 2 Batangan Pati since February to March 2009.

The study shows that (1) the mathematics learning planning in SMP Negeri 2 Batangan is good. Planning is a process of arranging something for achieving the goal. The mathematics teacher of SMP Negeri 2 Batangan Pati makes a set of learning equipment in every beginning of each semester as a learning plan in order to determine the learning aim and make easy the steps of learning process. (2) The mathematics learning organization of SMP Negeri 2 Batangan is well organized. Every mathematics teacher in SMP Negeri 2 Batangan has a duty, responsibility, and well-organized schedule. (3) The mathematics learning implementation in SMP Negeri 2 Batangan is good. Commonly, the mathematics teacher of SMP Negeri 2 Batangan can implement the teaching learning process well, however, they cannot act the learning planning based on the time allocation. The mathematic teachers of SMP Negeri 2 Batangan has a vary method in teaching, they come to class on time, and they give a flash back after explaining the material. (4) The evaluation of mathematics learning in SMP Negeri 2 Batangan is also good. It includes the daily and middle semester evaluation. The mathematics teachers of SMP Negeri 2 Batangan use them for determining the students’ grade of school report book. The passing grade is the lowest limit of the students’ grade. The mathematics teachers of SMP Negeri 2 Batangan give a remedial test to the students when they can not pass the passing grade. In other side, they enrich their material understanding when they can pass the passing grade.
